Dr. David B. Paul is a licensed psychologist through the Iowa Board of Psychology. He is a certified brain injury specialist and certified health service psychologist. He earned his Doctorate’s in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Neuropsychology from an APA-accredited training program. He attended his predoctoral internship at the APA-accredited University of Texas Health Science Center and his postdoctoral fellowship through the APPIC-accredited Arizona Psychology Residency Consortium. He also has a Bacherlor's and two Master's degrees in psychology, clinical psychology, and substance abuse counseling. Throughout his professional career, Dr. David B. Paul has worked in a locked custody treatment center, outpatient community mental health clinic, maximum custody prison, psychiatric hospital, private practice setting, outpatient and inpatient brain injury rehabilitation facilities, and hospital.
Dr. David B. Paul specializes in clinical and forensic neuropsychology and provides neuropsychological examinations for neurocognitive disorders, workers compensation, disability, personal injury, civil litigation, fitness for duty, guardianship, testamentary capacity cases, and MLB therapeutic use exemption (TUE) and NFL baseline assessment program (BAP) evaluations. Dr. David B. Paul also has expertise in evaluating neurocognitive disorders for presurgical neuropsychological clearance evaluations for deep brain stimulation, spinal cord stimulator, and intrathecal pain pump procedures. Dr. David B. Paul also provided psychological consultations for all the above listed reasons.
